In Geta, almost as far north as you can get, HavsVidden Resort is located with it's amasing restaurant. Up on a cliff with breathtaking views of the North Sea, you can enjoy tasty food with taste of seasonal ingredients. Although the focus is on food made from local produced ingredientäs, the kitchen gets it's inspiration from all over the world. In the western harbor, at the roof of the Maritime Museum, you will find restaurant Nautical. Clean, straight tastes are at the center and the ingredient's are chosen with the greatest care according to the season, preferably from local producers. You will also find great wines carefully choosen by the someliers in the restaurant.
Just next to Kastelholm castle you will find Smakbyn restaurant and destillery, a dream and vision that emerged in the head of Michael Björklund, a well known warrior who was given the award "Chef of the year" both in Finland and Sweden and who also performed well in Bocuse d'Or. The idea of Smakbyn is nothing less than offering the best of the Åland cuisine. The menu follows the season and the food is made with a lot of love. It is preferably served with a drink from the own destillery and apple winary.
