Experience northern Åland with an atmospheric New Year’s celebration at HavsVidden, where relaxing sauna sessions, sparkling sea views and a festive New Year’s dinner create the perfect setting to welcome in the new year.
At the very tip of Åland’s northern headland lies HavsVidden, nestled amongst dramatic cliffs and sweeping horizons. Here you are met by raw and beautiful natural surroundings where the sea is ever-present – at times calm and mirror-smooth, at others wild and mighty. Whilst the wind howls outside and the waves crash against the cliffs, warmth awaits indoors. In the hotel lobby, the fire crackles in the open fireplace, and you can settle down with a hot drink and simply relax.
Ring in the New Year in a unique and harmonious setting at HavsVidden, where the magnificent views of the North Sea and the archipelago create a magical backdrop.
Start the celebrations by relaxing in the beach sauna or taking a refreshing winter dip. Let the soothing atmosphere of the pool house by the sea set the scene for the evening’s festivities. As evening falls, the area is enveloped in an enchanting winter darkness, and with a bit of luck, a clear starry sky will provide an atmospheric start to the New Year.
In the evening, a delicious five-course dinner awaits you in a festive atmosphere. As midnight approaches, we’ll toast the New Year with a glass of sparkling wine and gaze out over the sea and the Åland archipelago.
New Year’s Day offers a peaceful and pleasant start to the year. Enjoy a generous breakfast served from 9 am to 12 noon, and with late check-out at 1.00 pm, you can savour the relaxed atmosphere a little longer. From the morning, the pool house and beach sauna are ready to welcome you for a peaceful and harmonious start to the new year.
