Mats Granberg creates a wonderful atmosphere on board with a wide-ranging musical repertoire and many years’ experience in live entertainment. From Elvis Presley classics to hits by Avicii, Mats delivers music that engages the audience and creates a convivial atmosphere.

With his personal rapport with the audience and his flair for entertainment, he loves to get the guests singing along and making them part of the experience. As well as playing the guitar, Mats sometimes takes to the piano, offering some extra musical variety.

Fredrik Börjesson is an experienced and much-loved party troubadour with over 3,000 gigs under his belt in Sweden, the rest of the Nordic region and the USA. With his infectious enthusiasm, wonderful energy and a repertoire packed with well-known songs, he creates the perfect Friday night atmosphere. Expect everything from lovely sing-along favourites to songs that’ll get your feet tapping.

Kire Ljung has been a full-time troubadour since 1987 and tours all over Sweden. This has given him great experience and confidence, which is evident in his powerful voice and relaxed guitar playing.

Few people can convey the content of a song lyric with Kire's clarity. The core of his repertoire is 60s and 70s music, alongside the obligatory troubadour songs that pub guests usually demand. At the same time, Kire wants to safeguard our Swedish folk tradition, mixing classics with many well-known songs.

Magnus Midelf is a talented singer and guitarist whose musical roots lie in the singer-songwriter tradition. With his warm singing voice, skilful guitar playing and cheerful disposition, he establishes a warm and relaxed connection with the audience right from the very first song.

Together with his bandmates in Midelf’s Trio, he presents a varied repertoire in which delicate melodies are interspersed with well-known favourites and songs with more energy and swing. With their good humour and easy-going style, the trio put on an entertaining performance that includes both music to sit back and relax to and songs that invite you to dance.

When country music finds a home

The Wildwood Country Music Fest is more than just a festival – it’s a sense of community, music and adventure. It all began with two friends, Linda Rapp and Alexzandra Wickman, and a shared love of country music. An idea that quickly grew into a family-friendly event where music brings people together.

Today, Wildwood brings together big names such as Victor Crone and Stig Rästa, offering performances brimming with both heart and energy – from morning till night. With its roots in dreams, friendship and genuine passion, a warm and adventurous atmosphere is created where both new and familiar country tunes find their place.

In October, the show group Remember will be joining us on board to treat us to a top-class musical experience. Taking to the stage are Anna-Klara Folin, Kristian Tåje, Lena Olsson Björkén and Mikael Landby – four experienced performers with impressive track records, including appearances at the Wallmans Dinner Show, Melodifestivalen, the Eurovision Song Contest and collaborations with some of Sweden’s biggest artists.

With energy, warmth and a wealth of stage experience, they take the audience on a musical journey through well-known favourites, timeless classics and modern hits. During the evening, you’ll experience the show Svenska Toner och Gyllene Hits – a tribute to music that has touched generations and still gets the audience singing along.

On Saturday October 24th, the M/S Eckerö will be transformed into a floating rock temple when this year’s eagerly awaited rock cruise sets sail!

Following the success of previous years, another unforgettable evening of rock awaits, packed with powerful guitar riffs, groovy rock classics and an atmosphere that will have the whole ship rocking. Rock enthusiasts from both Åland and Sweden gather to celebrate the music they love in a unique setting out at sea.

Right from the first sailings of the day, rock troubadour Alex Alister will be entertaining passengers to great live music and classic rock gems on the sailings at 10.00, 13.30, 15.00 and 18.30. As the evening draws in, the atmosphere heats up even more when Fury come on board to deliver energy, excitement and powerful rock hits on the sailings at 15.00, 18.30 and 20.00.

Join us on board for a proper party cruise with Henrik Olsen – Sweden’s undisputed king of parties in the DJ booth. He began his career at the age of just 9 under the name “DJ HÅNGEL”, and at 17 he made his breakthrough with Cool James & Black Teacher and the smash hit Dr. Feelgood.

Since then, Henrik has been a resident DJ at several clubs around Stureplan and has played all over Sweden. On the 3:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. departures, he will take over the DJ booth on board. With an unbeatable mix of the biggest 90s hits, party classics and today’s favourites, he ensures the atmosphere is electric from start to finish.

Expect a great atmosphere, sing-along hits and a dance floor that’ll be buzzing throughout the cruise. A gig with Henrik Olsen promises dancing, fun and guaranteed muscle soreness!

Fancy trying some Riesling? Then this is the tasting for you! On 21 November, we’re hosting a delightful wine tasting on board the M/S Eckerö, where we’ll discover Riesling from the historic Schloss Johannisberg together.

You don’t need to be able to distinguish between minerality and residual sweetness to take part. This tasting is just as suitable for those who already enjoy Riesling as it is for those who are simply curious and want to discover something new. Together, we’ll taste different wines, get to know their flavours and learn more about what makes Riesling such a much-loved grape variety.

It’ll be a relaxed and enjoyable experience on board – with fine wine, new discoveries and perhaps a new favourite in your glass. No prior knowledge required, just a bit of curiosity! Limited availability. The tasting will be held in Swedish.

Lisa Jepsen and Elin Myhr from SNÖ of Sweden are joining us on board to talk about the brand’s popular jewellery collections. Katja Rummelt from Rituals will be on hand to offer relaxing hand massages and share inspiration about the brand’s popular products and fragrances.

The event takes place on board in the duty-free shop on both the 10.00 and 15.00 return trips, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a lovely day at sea filled with beauty, fragrances and shopping.

Mats Larsson is a well-known and popular profile on board, with long experience as a cruise host on Eckerö Linjen. With his warm personality, his calmness and his flair for service, he has become a natural part of the experience for our guests. Mats has a background in both music and entertainment, which means that he easily creates comfort and commitment in all contexts.

Jesper Andersson has been part of our team since the beginning of 2024, and is a highly appreciated and popular cruise host. With his positive energy, commitment and natural stage presence, Jesper creates a welcoming atmosphere for both guests and colleagues. He has a background in music and entertainment, which is evident in his way of meeting the audience - always with warmth and a twinkle in his eye.

Jonas is already a familiar face to many of our guests, having performed onboard for several years as a troubadour – both solo and with his band The AM!GOS. He has also stepped in as a cruise host on several occasions over the years, which means he is already well-versed in life onboard, and he is now one of our regular cruise hosts.

Karin is an experienced freelance musician and vocal coach with solid experience from stage, studio and TV productions. Karin has, among other things, chorused behind Carola, been part of the well-known choirs By Grace and One Voice, and led inspiring workshops together with Gabriel Forss.

With a degree from the Örebro Academy of Music and the POP School, and an energy that is infectious, Karin is tailor-made to create a great atmosphere on board.
