Eckerö Line's cooperation with local companies

At Eckerö Linjen we value the local - therefore we are proud of the collaborations we have with several of Åland's and Roslagen's most passionate and quality-conscious companies. Here we will present some of these collaborations; Guldviva, Mercedes Chocolaterie, Åland Distillery, Odlarringen, Grannas Äppel and Haga Kungsgård.

Together we highlight crafts, flavours and creativity from Åland and Roslagen. Through these collaborations, we want to offer our travellers something unique and locally produced.

We have produced short films that give an insight into the worlds of our partners - their drivers, stories and visions.

Grannas Äppel

Grannas Äppel is one of Åland's largest apple orchards, located in Västanträsk, where apples are allowed to ripen in the sunny and mild archipelago climate before being hand-picked and sold fresh or pressed into natural juice.

Odlarringen

John and Gunilla are members of the Odlarringen co-operative in Åland - a collaboration of several farmers who have all chosen to grow only organic vegetables.

Åland Distillery was founded in 2019 in Kastelholm. Here, gin and spirits are created with a clear archipelago character, on a small scale and with Åland flavours in focus.

Mercedes Chocolaterie

Mercedes Chocolaterie was founded out of a passion for craftsmanship and genuine chocolate pleasure. In the heart of Åland, flavoursome pralines and confectionery are created.

Maria Karlström

Guldviva

Guldviva was born in 1989 as a classic jewellery shop. Guldviva's head goldsmith, Maria Karlström, draws inspiration from nature and her surroundings in Åland.

Haga Kundgård

Haga Kungsgård is a large farm with over 400 dairy cows – an agricultural enterprise with roots in cultural history that combines traditional farming with modern milk production.
