Järsö - along bridge banks out to sea
Cycle south over bridges and embankments towards the sea. At the end of the road you will find Stickstugan Café, with homemade coffee and a local craft shop.
Ice cream by the Lemström canal
A summer classic. Admire the historic canal from the 1880s. During the summer, the bridge is opened for boat traffic several times a day, so take the opportunity to enjoy an ice cream while watching the boats go through the canal.
Uffe på Berget - the café with a view
At Färjsundsbron in Finström, you'll find this elevated café with views in all directions. Here you can also enjoy a really good Åland pancake with jam and snow. Next to the café is a 30-metre high viewing tower.

Föglö
Discover historic Degerby and cycle along small roads through idyllic archipelago landscapes. In Degerby village centre there are old stalls, several places to eat and a restaurant, a guest boat harbour and a village shop. Also take the opportunity to look into the village tourist information where you can buy beautiful handicrafts and comfortable locally produced sweaters and woollen socks.
Kökar
Kökar is characterised by its rugged archipelago nature, rich history from the Bronze Age to Franciscan monasteries, and a strong local community committed to sustainability and self-sufficiency. Despite its small population, the island offers full services, cultural events and a life in close interaction with nature.
Kumlinge
Kumlinge is an archipelago municipality consisting of more than 800 islands, four of which are inhabited, with a charming mix of barren nature, watercourses and lush hazel groves that offer fine hiking trails, canoeing, hunting and bird watching all year round. The island has a vibrant history with the 14th century church of S:ta Anna known for its unique limestone paintings, the site of the 1808 Battle of Kumling, a 1930s air beacon and active cultural centres and museums such as Hermas and Sjölund's farm museum - all in a small community with a strong sense of community and service.
Lappo
Lappo is a genuine archipelago island in Brändö municipality with about 35 residents, known for its safe guest harbour with full service and nearby shop, restaurant, boathouse, library and archipelago museum in the middle of the village. There is Åland's first A1-classified 18-hole disc golf course, about 5 km of hiking trails and easy cycling / oiling location for day trips to other islands, which combines nature-based outdoor life with convenient services and living culture in a small idyll.
Brändö
Brändö is a vast archipelago municipality with over 1,200 islands, ten of which are inhabited by around 470 residents, connected by bridges, road banks and ferries - a modern, yet genuine archipelago environment with strong local services and active associations. The island offers unique nature experiences such as seal safaris and the round-shaped intrusion crater Ängskärs fjärden, as well as several guest harbours, restaurants and culture with small hotels, cafés and cycle-friendly routes along the Åland ring road.
