The charming Eckerö Hotel is nestled in beautiful surroundings along Käringsundsvägen, in Eckerö, within walking distance of the Eckerö Line harbour. Eckerö Hotel, built in the 1960s when several small hotels were built outside the cities, still has furniture and decor with a contemporary touch. When "Vi på Saltkråkan" was filmed in Eckerö, the author Astrid Lindgren stayed at the hotel and the entire corridor was later named Astrid Royal Blue Floor. The hotel has been extended and remodelled in stages and today has 40 double rooms, 9 of which are family rooms. All 40 rooms have parquet floors and several of the rooms are also disabled-friendly. All rooms have a shower, toilet, hairdryer, TV and telephone. Free Wi-Fi is available.
