The large archipelago buffet at Restaurant Bornholm is a celebration of the flavours of the archipelago and the joy of eating at sea. Here, a generous and modern buffet is laid out with a focus on fish, local ingredients and carefully selected dishes that reflect both tradition and modernity. A flavourful experience that enhances the entire trip.

It all started with the classic schnapps table, where herring, bread and simple snacks were served as a natural start to the meal. Over the years, this tradition developed into an increasingly rich archipelago buffet, filled with flavours from both the sea and land. Today, the legacy lives on in a modern version on board the M/S Eckerö, where the archipelago's presence is clearly evident in the buffet with its generous selection of fish, classic favourites and new taste experiences side by side.

On the warm side of the buffet, you will find rustic and well-prepared dishes to suit all tastes. Here you will find BBQ veal ribs, oven-roasted cauliflower with kale and caper-olive tapenade, oven-braised salmon with hollandaise sauce and much more. The flavours are complemented by classic accompaniments such as potato gratin, roasted root vegetables and rich sauces, making the hot buffet a clear favourite for many.

When it's time to round off the meal, the dessert buffet is ready. Here you can enjoy Åland classics such as Åland pancakes with plum jam, macaroons, chocolate mousse, ice cream and a well-stocked cheese platter with selected cheeses. A sweet and tasty finish that completes the meal.

The large archipelago buffet is served on departures at 13.30, 15.00 and 18.30, with a table setting time of 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Children have the privilege of enjoying their meals at a lower price, see price when booking. To secure a place for children, regardless of age, booking in the restaurant is required. Meals on board can easily be booked online at the online price or by telephone at the regular price. Please note that you can now book a place in the restaurants up to one hour before the ferry departs. You must take your place in the restaurant no later than 15 minutes after the ferry departs. You can also purchase your meal on board at regular price, provided there is availability in the restaurant.
