For those of you seeking a culinary experience beyond the ordinary, we invite you to our magnificent Game Buffet – a culinary celebration of autumn and nature’s bountiful larder. This is the time of year when the forest and the sea provide their most flavourful ingredients, and we make the most of every delicacy to give you a dinner to remember.

A culinary journey through the colours of autumn

At our game buffet, served October 2nd to November 12th, you’ll be treated to a generous selection of dishes that reflect the character of the season. Enjoy hearty autumn stews, classic moose ‘tjälknöl’ that melts in the mouth, and dishes such as salted, lightly smoked venison loin, braised char and crayfish-cured salmon – all with their own unique flavours that speak of the riches of the forest and the water.

The Head Chef’s Favourite

Did you miss our wild duck in forester’s sauce last year? Then you’ve got something extra to look forward to. It’s a personal favourite of our head chef Joakim “Jocke” Nordberg, who, with passion and a keen instinct, has created a dish that has become an undisputed highlight of the buffet. With great care for the ingredients and a keen eye for flavour, he combines tradition with creativity to offer you something truly special.

The buffet is served every day on departures at 13.30, 15.00 and 18.30.

Entertainment and shopping

Turn your game buffet cruise into a complete experience with live music, music quizzes and enjoyable entertainment at Klubb Kuling. Our cruise hosts and troubadours create a wonderful atmosphere. On Tuesdays between October 13–27, there’s also the show “Swedish Tunes and Golden Hits” featuring Remember.

Do also take the opportunity to visit our on-board shop, which offers a wide range of perfumes, cosmetics, drinks, sweets and other great-value bargains, before it’s time to go ashore.

Are you ready for a game buffet cruise with Eckerö Linjen? Choose the date and departure time that suit you best and get ready for some fantastic views of the Sea of Åland. The entire cruise takes a total of 4,5 hours, which means you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the game buffet and entertainment, yet still be back home before the day is out. We offer shuttle buses from 30 locations that take you all the way to the boat and back home again at no extra cost.
