Diversity in dishes

On our game table, the variety of dishes is impressive. You'll discover everything from rich autumn stews that warm you up to delicious moose drumsticks that melt in your mouth. Our chefs have carefully composed the menu, which includes everything from rimmed lightly smoked venison loin to boiled char and crayfish salmon - each with its own unique flavour profile that reflects the changes in nature during autumn.

If you want to follow our chef's recommendation, you can't miss our wild duck in hunter's sauce. It's a dish that is a true highlight of our game table and one that Joakim "Jocke" Nordberg, our chef on M/S Eckerö, personally recommends. He is passionate about creating an extraordinary dining experience and is dedicated to using the best ingredients and techniques to create flavourful dishes.

Sustainability and localisation

We also value sustainability and support local producers as far as possible. Chanterelles and funnel chanterelles, or autumn chanterelles as we say in Åland, for example, are a raw material we buy from Åland private individuals who have mushroom picking as a leisure interest. Our goal is for it to taste homemade and therefore most of our dishes are made from scratch on board, in accordance with our food philosophy. It is this combination of love for food, respect for nature and support for local producers that makes our game buffet so special.

Children have the privilege of enjoying their meals at a more favourable price. To secure a seat for children, regardless of age, a pre-booking in the restaurant is required. Meals on board can be easily booked online at the online price or by phone at the regular price. Please note that you can now book a seat in the restaurants up to one hour before departure. You can also buy your meal on board at the regular price, subject to availability in the restaurant.

The duration of the cruise is 1 hour and 45 minutes.
