In our à la carte restaurant Rospiggen awaits a taste journey beyond the ordinary. It combines the season's best ingredients with creative cooking and genuine dining pleasure - all served in a relaxed and stylish environment on board.

Our chefs cook from scratch with carefully selected ingredients from small-scale producers in Roslagen and Åland. Everything is adapted to the season to get the best flavour and quality.

Your experience is incredibly important to us, and our knowledgeable waiters will be happy to help you find the perfect wine to further enhance your meal.

A kitchen that wakes up early - and smells great all day

On board M/S Eckerö, the day starts in the kitchen at dawn. From early on, pots and stews are simmering, the ovens are hot and the scents are spreading through the ship. Almost everything served on board is made from scratch - from homemade stocks to flavoursome sauces and classic dishes with a modern twist. Read more about our food philosophy here

You can enjoy good food from our à la carte menu, where you choose what you fancy.

In addition to the regular menu, we also offer a menu of the week with starter, main course and dessert - perfectly composed by our chefs using the best seasonal ingredients from the local area. This menu changes every Friday.

For our younger guests, there is a children's menu filled with favourites - created with the children's own wishes in mind for a fun and tasty dining experience. You can find the menus at the bottom of this page.

Secure your chair in the restaurant - book a table in advance!

You can book a table up to one hour before the boat departs. Then you are guaranteed a seat.

When booking, you pay 100 kr or 10 € per person in advance. When you check in at the harbour, you will receive a voucher for the same amount. Leave it at the restaurant and the amount will be deducted from your bill.

Remember to book for everyone in your party - including children.

Eckerö Linjen quality label

We at Eckerö Linjen are very keen to serve good and well-prepared food.

To ensure quality, we conduct a survey via Marknadskraft AB, an industry-affiliated research company. In our guest satisfaction survey, the à la carte restaurant has received the following ratings in July 2025 from 438 respondents. The scale ranges from 1 to 6, with 6 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.

Was the food tasty and well cooked? 89% have given a score of 5-6
How were the staff treated? 93% have given a score of 5-6

The involvement of Marknadskraft guarantees the anonymity of the guests and the proper conduct of the survey.
