In our charming à la carte restaurant Rospiggen, you can expect a taste experience that goes beyond the ordinary!

Our skilled chefs use carefully selected local ingredients according to seasonal availability. Your attentive waiter is ready to guide you to the perfect wine to complement your meal. We are pleased that our cooking is based on ingredients from small-scale producers in Roslagen and Åland.

Creative chefs who are passionate about cooking from scratch

On board M/S Eckerö, the chefs and cooks start their day early every morning to prepare the delicacies that will be served to the ship's guests. No matter what time you enter the kitchen, you are always welcomed by smells coming from the pots simmering and ovens where something tasty is being cooked. On board, most of what is served in the restaurants is created from scratch, including homemade stocks and slow cookers. Read more about our food philosophy here

À la carte menu and menu of the week - an exciting variety

When you visit our restaurant, you can choose your favourite dishes from our à la carte menu. You can find our menu at the top of this page. In addition to our regular menu, we also offer a special "menu of the week" with starter, main course and dessert that changes every Friday. The menu of the week is created according to what our chefs get hold of for delicious ingredients in our local region for that particular week.

For our younger guests, we have a special menu where they can find their favourite dishes. Our children's menu is designed according to children's wishes to offer a fun and tasty experience also for our younger guests. See the children's menu here

Menus in Restaurant Rospiggen

Please note that you can now secure your table by pre-booking up to one hour before the departure of the boat. At the time of booking, an advance payment of 100 kr per person (10 €) will be charged as a seat reservation. When you check in at the port, you will receive a voucher for the same amount, which you will then hand in at the restaurant, and the prepaid amount will be deducted from your final restaurant bill. Please note that everyone in your party needs to be booked, including children.

Eckerö Linjen quality label

We at Eckerö Linjen are very keen to serve good and well-prepared food.

To ensure quality, we conduct a survey via Marknadskraft AB, an industry-affiliated research company. In our guest satisfaction survey, the à la carte restaurant has received the following ratings in March 2025 from 163 respondents. The scale goes from 1 to 6, where 6 is the highest and 1 the lowest.

Was the food tasty and well cooked? 90% have given a score of 5-6
How were the staff treated? 92% have given a score of 5-6

The involvement of Marknadskraft guarantees the anonymity of the guests and the proper conduct of the survey.

The restaurant is open as follows:

The à la carte restaurant Rospiggen is open every day on the 13.30, 15.00 and 18.30 departures, and Thursday to Saturday also on the 20.00 departure.

Between July 7th and August 9th, excluding Sundays, lunch (from a separate lunch menu) is served on the 10.00 departure. Additionally, between June 16th and August 30th, the restaurant is also open Monday through Wednesday for the 20.00 departure.
