At our company, we strive to make your booking and travelling experience a smooth one. To ensure that all the details are clear, we have carefully formulated our booking conditions for groups. Here you can easily get an overview of what applies when you book with us.
The following conditions and descriptions apply to package travel and the new Package Travel Act, which entered into force on 1 August 2018. The combined travel services you are offered constitute a package within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2015/2302. Therefore, you are covered by all EU rights applicable to package travel. Eckerö Linjen Ab will be fully responsible for the proper fulfilment of the package tour as a whole. In addition, Eckerö Linjen has, by law, the protection to refund your payments (see rules below) and, when transport is included in the package, to ensure your repatriation. More information on key rights under Directive (EU) 2015/2302

Important to know about travel insurance
Travel insurance is a financial protection for travellers when a trip is cancelled or interrupted. The traveller can then apply for compensation under the travel guarantee.
The Travel Guarantee Act applies to:
Package tours A package tour is an arrangement consisting of transport and accommodation or any of these services combined with a tourist service, such as car hire, theatre tickets or admission to a sporting event. A package holiday must be longer than 24 hours or include overnight accommodation. A package holiday is sold at a single price or at separate prices linked to each other. All package holidays must be covered by a travel guarantee, regardless of whether they are sold to individuals or companies.
The Package Travel Act
We recommend that you read the Package Travel Act before paying for your travel package. You can find it at www.riksdagen.se/sv/dokument-lagar/dokument/svensk-forfattningssamling/paketreselag-20181217_sfs-2018-1217
