How does a day cruise with children on Eckerö Linjen work?

The Eckerö Line is the fastest route between Sweden and Åland. When you take a day cruise with us, the entire round trip takes only 4.5 hours, and the boat journey one way is only 2 hours long. A day cruise with the kids means a fun day at sea where you still get home to your own beds in the evening.

A cruise with kids is never boring! On board, for example, you'll find a tricky quiz and our popular Ship and Fun playroom. The playroom has both fun games and an exciting pirate ship with a slide. You can also buy our craft and activity booklet for only SEK 20 in the duty-free shop or at the information desk on deck 5.

An obvious choice during the family cruise is of course our buffet, where all family members can find their own favourites. In Buffé Bornholm, both breakfast/brunch buffets and various buffets are served that vary based on the season, such as the archipelago buffet, Easter buffet and Christmas buffet.

In Kafé Käringssund you can get both coffee and several different hot dishes. Of course, there are also the children's favourite foods, meatballs and ice cream. In Bistro Byholma, you can enjoy delicious grilled dishes and pastries.

Our connecting buses depart from over 100 stops in 30 different towns and cities and take you all the way to the boat in Grisslehamn and back home again in the evening. You can easily choose both departure and connecting bus in your web booking.
