Öfvergårds apple

At Öfvergårds in Tjudö, they focus on artisanal processing of the farm's own apples and also offer a picnic in the apple garden, farm visits for small and large groups and apple safaris.

After a hailstorm in 2014, which destroyed the entire harvest, Anna and Jan have developed the farm from a traditional apple orchard into an innovative food business. Here, they pick their own apples individually and harvest when the apples are at their best. They do this because they want to enhance the colour, taste and character of each apple variety.

Book an apple safari where you can join Anna and Jan on an exciting guided tour of the apple orchard or a must tasting where you get to try 3-4 different musts along with Åland flavours.

Please note that these are outdoor activities. Apple safari and must tasting are in Swedish or English. Bookings should be made at least the day before the activity.

You can also take the opportunity to buy the farm's products from the farm shop. In the farm shop there is a must bar, where you can taste all apple samples before purchase. In addition to Öfvergård's own products, such as apples, apple juice, pickled apple shoots, honey from the farm's own bees and apple mulled wine, you will also find products from other producers.
